Present position
Senior manager, Site Reliability Engineering, Google, 2023–present.
I’ve managed managers of both existing and new SRE teams, and individual contributors from new grad through to senior staff level, developed effective tech leads, hired and built a new team, and I’ve represented reliability as part of technical leadership teams in planning the future of products.
I’m presently the lead of Zettastore SRE, leading teams to provide reliable logging and storage for billing and analytics purposes to Google products, at Google scale.
In the past, I’ve managed reliability engineering teams for the Cloud Pub/Sub product and several internal infrastructure services including inter-process communication, structured storage, analytics, and data acquisition (crawling) products.
